Eucalyptus Polyanthemos

Noutatea anului 2021, încercăm noi eucalipți și Blue Gum este un soi special. Dar frumos de special! Frunzele sunt neobișnuite și, prin compoziție, mărime și formă, nu amintesc de eucalipt. Sunt mari, lungi și ascuțite. Culoarea este, însă, exemplară de eucalipt! Crenguțele sunt bogate, pline de frunze, de aceea sunt o umplutură excelentă pentru buchete.

Summer stock is a great cut flower! It likes low temperatures, yet we manage to grow three batches a year – two in spring and one in autumn. From one plant, you'll harvest only one flower, but it will be a wonderfully large, double one. Stock has a beautiful, almost intoxicating fragrance and lasts a long time in a vase. The flowers are edible. The Katz series is not as susceptible to temperature changes and is generally easier to grow for beginner gardeners. However, this comes at the cost of thinner stems and a smaller proportion of double-flowered pieces. Katz Apricot is the most beautiful shade of skin-tone apricot. All stock varieties have some plants with double flowers and some with single ones. The proportion varies for each series. Katz has 55-60% double-flowered plants. Therefore, we recommend planting a little more. On our farm, however, we also use the single ones; they are super unique.

Cosmos are one of the most popular flowers on our farm. They resemble daisies, and customers love them. And now, imagine such a hit in a double-flowered version! Double Click Rose Bonbon is a shade of solid pink. One plant produces at least 12 stems.

Statice is a classic from grandma's garden, but also an evergreen among dried flowers. We grow statice by the hundreds! It's incredibly useful in bouquets as a filler material, and even undried it lasts a long time in a vase. Once all the flowers on the stem have bloomed, statice no longer wilts and is suitable for wreaths, corsages, and boutonnieres. One plant produces at least 15 stems. For drying, we harvest statice when the stem below the flower is firm and has a fully bloomed inflorescence. Simply hang them upside down in a dry, ventilated place, away from direct sunlight.

Delphiniums are spring beauties that are unparalleled. However, if you want to harvest them for cut flowers, you must be vigilant and harvest quickly before all the buds open. Especially in the warm springs of recent years, they fade quickly, so we sow several batches 14 days apart to even keep up with the harvest. Delphinium QIS Light Pink is a beautiful light shade of warm pink. From one plant, you will harvest one stronger stem and 4-5 smaller side stems.

Un clasic printre nigelle, o nuanță intensă de albastru ceresc. Nigella este o frumusețe de primăvară, dar fructele sale se recoltează excelent, așa că rezistă în grădină până vara.

Varianta Bronze&White este cea mai frumoasă dintre toate culorile. Culoarea este somon până la corai, cu reflexii mai deschise pe flori. În fermă căutăm mereu specii și culori interesante. Iar gladiolele Madame Butterfly sunt preferatele noastre! Florile sunt duble, iar asta ridică întreaga gladiole la un nou nivel! Tulpinile nu sunt la fel de masive și lungi ca, de exemplu, la seriile Potomac și Maryland, dar compensează prin dubla lor înflorire. Le folosim în buchete, unde creează un volum frumos și mare. O plantă produce o tulpină principală mai mare și 4 tulpini laterale mai mici.
