Limonium sinuatum
Statice is a classic from grandma's garden, but also an evergreen among dried flowers. We grow statice by the hundreds! It's incredibly useful in bouquets as a filler material, and even undried it lasts a long time in a vase. Once all the flowers on the stem have bloomed, statice no longer wilts and is suitable for wreaths, corsages, and boutonnieres. QIS Pastel is a beautiful medley of colors in tones of blue, lilac, lavender, and pink. One plant produces at least 15 stems.
For drying, we harvest statice when the stem below the flower is firm and the entire inflorescence has bloomed. Simply hang them upside down in a dry, ventilated place, away from direct sunlight.
